What is a Pre-shipment Inspection?
The pre-shipment inspection (also called Final Random Inspection) takes place only when the production is 100% completed and at least 80% packed in shipping cartons ready for shipment. It is an important step in the quality control process for checking the quality of goods before shipment. It is done following the standard Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) specs for the product, or client requirements.
It comes after the identification and the evaluation of your vendor/factory.
